After our walks during 2022 through Hirzenbach, we start a new season of walks through Schwamendingen with ExpoTransKultur.

Fuimos al bosque cercano a Schamendingen, en Zürichberg, e hicimos varias paradas para compartir nuestras lecturas sobre la primavera. Escuchamos poesía, cuentos, frases y canciones en español, holandés e italiano, con traducción espontánea en alemán e inglés. Un paseo muy especial lleno de lecturas y escucha.
Wir sind in den Wald bei Schamendingen auf dem Zürichberg gelaufen und haben mehrere Stopps gemacht, um unsere Lektüre über den Frühling zu teilen. Wir haben Gedichte, Geschichten, Sätze und Lieder auf Spanisch, Niederländisch und Italienisch, mit spontaner Übersetzung auf Deutsch und Englisch gehört. Ein ganz besonderer Spaziergang voller Lesungen und Zuhören.
We walked into the forest near Schamendingen on the Zürichberg and made several stops to share our reading about spring. We listened to poems, stories, phrases and songs in Spanish, Dutch and Italian, with spontaneous translation in German and English. A very special walk full of readings and listening.

¿Cómo llegamos a Schwamedingen? Con esta pregunta arrancó nuestra caminata ayer. Todas llegamos en transporte, muchas pasando por el túnel que comienza en Milchbuch y termina en Schwamedingenplatz. Para este paseo, la propuesta fue caminar el tramo de ciudad que no vemos al viajar por el túnel. Túneles, autopistas entubadas, estaciones de tram con ascensores. Nuestro paseo de ayer fue urbano y nos llevó hasta Milchbuch compartiendo algunas lecturas sobre transportes y la periferia.
How did we get to Schwamedingen? With this question we started our walk yesterday. We all arrived by transport, many passing through the tunnel that starts at Milchbuch and ends at Schwamedingenplatz. For this tour, the proposal was to walk the section of the city that we do not see when traveling through the tunnel. Tunnels, tubed highways, tram stations with elevators. Our walk yesterday was urban and took us to Milchbuch sharing some readings on transport and the periphery.

El sábado hicimos nuestra última caminata antes de la pausa de verano con Expotranskultur. Fuimos un grupo pequeño pero nos divertimos mucho y es que los grupos chicos permiten tomar decisiones más fácilmente, como la de seguir un camino inexplorado y encontrar que el arroyo que seguíamos sale en realidad de una canilla/grifo/caño de la ciudad. Como el río en El Danubio de Claudio Magris, del que dicen que nace de un grifo. Seguimos el agua: fuentes, molino, arroyos que no lo son, bebederos vacíos, nuestra propia sed, las aguas del mar de Vicente Huidobro y las del río Negro de «Un lugar llamado Antaño» de Olga Tokarczuk. Un hermoso paseo veraniego.
On Saturday we had our last walk before the summer pause with Expotranskultur. We were a small group but we had a lot of fun; small groups allow to take decisions faster, like following an unexpected path and finding that the stream we were looking at comes from a city’s tap. We followed the water: fountains, a mill, false streams, dry drinking troughs, our own thirst and the water written in the texts of Vicente Huidobro and Olga Tokarczuk’s «Primeval and other times». It was a beautiful summer walk!
